Business Loans
Montana West Economic Development offers loan funds for businesses and entrepreneurs to help with startups, expansions, working capital, or equipment purchases. Our goal is to support healthy and successful local businesses and create and retain jobs in Northwest Montana. We work closely with local lending partners to give businesses a path forward. We offer gap financing when bank lending or owner equity is not sufficient to meet a business's full financial needs.
APEX Accelerator
Montana APEX Accelerator is open for business and ready to assist your company with its government contracting needs. The program was authorized by Congress in 1985 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in the government marketplace.

Food and Ag Development Center
Montana West Economic Development is pleased to be a part of the Montana Food and Agricultural Development Center (FADC) Network supporting Northwest Montana. The FADC Network helps Montanans innovate and grow businesses that produce and commercialize food, agricultural and renewable energy products and processes, creating wealth and jobs in our communities and on our farms and ranches.
Brownfields Assessment Grant
Montana West Economic Development currently oversees a $500,000 Brownfields Assessment Grant from the U.S. EPA. The grant may be used to conduct Brownfields assessments throughout Flathead County, identifying contaminated industrial and commercial properties that may be cleaned up and returned to productive reuse and redevelopment.
